CTRAN Protest Draws Little Interest
The Clayton County Comissioners recently voted to shut down CTRAN effective March 2010 to save the county millions of dollars, which it does not have to spend. As a result of that decision, a protest was planned recently againest the shutdown. Apparently shutting down the service is popular judging by the turnout of protestors which was very slim. Of those who did attend, many were not even from Clayton County.

Attention Home Renters!
10/30/09
Be aware that there are scam artists at work in Clayton County praying on prospective home renters! Scamers are renting the same property to multiple people at the same time. To top it off, they do not own the homes they are renting out. Know who you are dealing with before you put any money up on a rental home. If in doubt, check with the Tax Assesors Office, to determine who actually owns the rental home.
